For the past few years, I have been exposing criminal activity and corruption at the Fairfield County [Connecticut] State's Attorneys office by news releases, faxes, emails, and other communications. As I have been doing this, I have been the target of witness intimidation; and I have also witnessed forgery, witness tampering, perjury, false statement, and conspiracy with respect to a wide-ranging, ongoing, systematic cover-up of varied criminal activity.
What began the witness intimidation was a criminal complaint I filed against two attorneys at the prominent local, Bridgeport, CT, law firm Pullman and Comley for theft of about $5800.00 of medical films I had left with them at the time when they were representing me as a plaintiff in a personal-injury case.
I have started a book on this matter which I regard a grave public issue, not only a tale of personal grievance. I believe the book will not only be enlightening to many about illegal behavior and perverse motives of certain government officials, but will also expose the strange ways that government has taken in many places. Certainly, the Bush Administration's activities and motives carrying the country to war in Iraq are strange. As my story of government perversions began before the Bush Administration's peculiar exercise of leadership, I could discern a replay of the sorts of lies, cabalistic network, and prospective dangers I had been witnessing among public officials in Connecticut.
Excerpts from this book-in-progress will be posted regularly on my website henryberrywritereditor.com I started mainly for the book's publication. The excerpts can be found at the heading Corruption in Connecticut. The first posting is titled A Clicking in the Air. The title refers to an illegal wiretap on my phone. In a civil case of mine, a judge ruled that the Fairfield County State's Attorney Jonathan Benedict admitted to my accusations of the illegal wiretap and the cover-up of it for refusing to turn over to me documents concerning it. These documents would, of course, identify others involved in the criminal activity.
As a result of exposure I have been giving to the criminal activity and naming individuals who are known to be involved in it, an investigation in to activities of Stamford's mayor Dan Malloy while he was a Democratic gubernatorial candidate was hastily dropped. In conjunction with this, the Chief State's Attorney Christopher Morano in effect gave up his job by not seeking reappointment after an overwhelming notice of no confidence from Connecticut county prosecutors. But these are incidental and somewhat puzzling repercussions; though they make sense as measures to perpetuate the cover-up of the criminal activity of the nefarious league of public and private lawyers in Fairfield County.
I decided to establish my own website for my book rather than do postings on gather.com. I know the lawyers have intimidated some media and communications businesses. I once got an email from AT&T cautioning me about content of some emails I had sent out. I'm not presuming gather.com would be intimidated; but I just want to avoid the issue completely lest it somehow hinder the regular postings of my book-in-progress. I'll be noting these postings to my website as they appear at gather.com. Here's the link to the first posting: A Clicking in the Air.

From what I see from your emails, you're making a typical mistake of individuals who find themselves in such as situation. Namely, you're not identifying individuals and accusing them of specific crimes. This is what I've been doing, and I know it has had some adverse effects on the criminals I have been naming. Another thing I've been doing is getting in touch with individuals and organizations I know are in opposition to the criminals I know about. Among these have been opposing parties in lawsuits; and in the case of judges, I've been contacting both attorneys and parties in cases the judges have made rulings on. This is threatening to the reputations and the livelihoods of the criminals. I know in my cases judges have been transferred, attorneys have been fired or had to find other jobs, and law-enforcement officials have lost some of their standing in the eyes of their peers.
What I see you're doing is complaining generally about the "system". This is useless, as it's done millions of times a day in blogs, newspaper editorials, news reports, etc. I'm not trying to change the system - I'm trying to go after identifiable criminals using my own tactics after I've seen that the system more protects the criminals within it rather than punishes them. This is why the local authorities find me so dangerous to them - I'm not following the rules nearly everyone else follows. But they're the rules they made up, but don't follow themselves unless it is in their interest.
I have been in touch with Christopher Dodd's office. I don't know if the information and accusations I sent in were passed on to him. At different times I've also been in touch with the F.B.I., Joseph Lieberman, CT Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, and the state police, among others. Nothing was done in any of these cases. I did, however, receive a note from Richard Blumenthal saying that he wasn't interested in hearing any more about the matter, there was nothing he could do about it. I have however, kept him informed of things as they have gone on and in fact expanded.
The main consequence of my efforts to report the matter to public officials at all levels and get them to stop the criminal activity has been a widening of the cover-up and conspiratorial network. I still pursuing some lines, and I expect they will lead to higher levels in Connecticut government. I've been contacting politicians, the media, etc., not only to publicize the crimes, but also as a way to protect myself from the witness intimidation I figured would be coming. Although this hasn't eliminated witness intimidation, it has, I think, made it much more problematic for those committing it.
I'm not the least concerned about being sued for libel or defamation. I have varied types of evidence, including much documentary evidence, to support my criminal accusations. With my graduate-level studies in philosophy and related research, I realize when I have a sound case. The cases I make go beyond the level of reasonable doubt. There is no doubt about the criminal activity I am exposing. The individuals I have been naming are beyond any doubt criminals. This is plain not only from the efforts by many to protect them, but by the lies of theirs I am able to expose and also crimes of the cover-up including tampering with evidence, perjury, false statement, and others.
I can prove beyond any doubt that public law-enforcement officials at the Fairfield County State's Attorney's office have worked with and are continuing to work with criminal attorneys at the Pullman and Comley law firm. It looks to me that the public law-enforcement officials are advising the private attorneys on ways to make it seem that they did not commit the crime of the theft of my medical films required for an operation. At every stage when I submitted evidence of crimes to the State's Attorney's office, this evidence was tampered with or I became the target of additional witness intimidation.
Well, as you can imagine, such a long-running episode has grown fairly complicated with its cover-up upon cover-up, criminals in key positions, and growing number of persons involved. Though I've managed to keep things clear in my mind. This is what I'll be spelling out in the course of my book-in-progress at my website. I'm hoping that the book will serve as a guide to other individuals on how to combat crime in government, especially in law-enforcement agencies where it can be most threatening to democratic society. Maybe at some time I would try to establish an organization of individuals threatened by government criminal activity. This organization would not only take action to expose the crimes while giving considerable protection to those who are exposing them, and also work to hold the criminals accountable.
I'll be posting this email reply to you at gather.com without any reference to you or to anything you told me in your emails. Thank you for getting in touch with me.
Sometimes one has to take a stand. I wish you well with the proceedings and the book.
I have great respect for the book reviews you have brought to Gather. My suspicions are that you are a fairly even person by nature and that your conduct is above reproach. Again well wishes on this and may truth prevail.
