I feel, Kushal, every poem if analyzed in depth would portray the state of your mind at that given point of time. So too, today’s ‘come back’ provides me a lead to your facing some sort of a dilemma that you are unable to solve despite much effort. May be – this is only a weather forecast and weather forecasts seldom come true. And of course the sullen eyes over a frugal meal evokes more sympathy for the unfortunate have-nots whose fate gets notified through poetic sensors like you. Do I place a 100 for you above?

I can imagine you putting a 100. Thank you for your uplifting comment. You remind me of my 12th Standard Bengali language teacher. Once I wrote a 14 line essay in Pre-test exam. He gave me 15 out of 20. It was highest of the class. Others said that from now on they must try writing less number of lines. Ha ha. It of course made me flying...

I love to wake early and watch the sun rise. Today, I watched rain pour on my windows instead.
We had a cafe in California. Sometimes suspicion does spoil the day.

That would make a good article, might do it. We had the Friendly Cafe for about 6 years. I was there for four of them. We did have some interesting customers. It was out in the Mojave desert.

Back again. It is appropriately rainy today. I love the wistfulness of the first piece and the idea that it is not what one says but how one says it and the intent of the phrase. In the second, I think the use of the food as a metaphor for classes and conditions in society are very apt.
