We were talking about something tonight and the topic turned to "What would we look like when we are old?" I said I would just sit on the couch and watch TV. But my husband had a different prediction of our "old life":
We would not need to "watch" TV. The technology would have been so advanced that a "chip" could be implanted into our brain that would play all the TV shows we wanted. So we would just sit there with our eyes closed and enjoy the show in our brain. Actually, we wouldn't be sitting on a couch. We would be placed in a floating fluid filled pool (like the "Matrix"), which would relax our muscles and help circulation. We would not need to eat or go to the bathroom. Both of these functions would be taken care of by tubes hooked up to our bodies.
That's some crazy talk, eh? Or is it?
