YAY my hubbys coming home:)

My hubby is on his way home. Hes a long haul truck driver and I havent seen him since June 20th. He should be home in like 7 1/2 hours which will be 10am my time. I probably wont be around much because he'll be here till Friday but I will for sure come see everyones articles when he leaves and I have free time again. My 2 year old son Christian is going to be so excited. Hes learned so many new words and has grown so much. I hope you all have a fantastic week.

Enjoy your reunion. It is difficult when one partner has to travel for more than a few days at a time. I'm excited for your son too! I'm sure he's overjoyed at Daddy coming home.

I am the wife of a trucker myself... My hubby's parents are truckers too... along with his brother... they all do long haul except my hubby... he did the long haul for 2 years and then I spent a month desperately looking for a local job where he would be home nightly and weekends and holidays too... the kids missed him too much...

I just opened the phone book and did a search online for local trucking companies .. called them all and kept a list of the ones that had daily runs... within that months time he was working a local job...

My Dad was a long haul trucker when I was a child. And my mom didn't drive.
We lived way out in the sticks without any neighbors. Long, lonely times.

It's horrible that he's been gone so long. My brother is a trucker and is often gone a week or two. It's bound to be hard on you and your son.
