Making Extra Revenue Online

I will be working a full-time job, will be supporting myself and my graduate education all on my own, so I am in desperate need of money. Any little revenue that I make on the side helps a great deal! I found that the most-profit making programs are those where you get paid to write and discuss like: mylot, associated content,blogging, and gather. There are some more legit one but don't come to my head at the moment. I also make some good extra cash with gift cards from epoll,mypoints and I take surveys from surveryspot, greenfield,global test market, testspin, lightspeed, and weekly reader insiders. If anyone has any questions of comments about the above posted sites, feel free to ask or share them. I'll be glad to help. I am also willing to give refferals, if you would like.

Unfortunately I do not have the time to do anything else but write fiction, work my 9-5 and take care of household duties. Oh yeah, and spend ample time on Gather!!! Thanks for the info and good luck on your career endeavors!!!!

Weekly Reader Insiders gives you points which you can trade in for amazon gift certificate, american express cards, books, toys, and other things. The site is aimed at kids and teens, as are most of the surveys. Points add up easily and I have made over $200 in amazon gift certificates from them

I love MyPoints! It's so easy and in no way pushy and I like that. Everything is upfront and all your options are changeable. I've just learned of Weekly Reader Insider, so I'm anxious to see what it's all about.

Yeah, Mypoints is wonderful. Points add up quickly also. I love their wide variety of gift cards to choose from. Hopefully in the future they will have a money option too.

Lisa, I agree it's hard at times. I too have trouble keeping up with all connections, while taking surveys, writing articles for other sites, all the while working and doing household duties. I've decided to make a schedule to better organize myself and set time apart for online activities, household activities, and leisure activities. Organizing helps at times.

Peacework, I'm not sure of places that pay you with check or gift cards for poetry, other than gather. Mylot is similar to gather in the sense that you get paid for all types of content. I can send you a referral there if you would like. I would also give blogging a try. Setup a free blog with blogger or typepad and sign up under sites like Bloggerparty that pay you to write articles on their blog. Google adsense also pays you per click you get on yoru site, and it's fairly easy to get accepted, send me a pm if you are interested or have any more questions.

Lori, Mypoints is great! Yes, they send a couple of e-mails everyday and that's a great thing. That's how you make money, or points. You click on their ads and poinst get credited on yoru account, then you can redeem them for a gift card

Susan, Cash Crate is ok from what I've heard, but what I don't like about it is you actually have to give a credit card to sign up for offers. I hate giving out personal info like that. There are many other ways to make money online where you don't have to sign up for offers, you simply take surveys and get credited with points or money.

I can refer you to this if you like. They used to pay you money after you accrued enough points for $20 or more, but they have changed somewhat in the past year. They may still offer this, I haven't completely researched it. They definitely do have an affiliated site called SweepLand. They allow you to play a small game of fortune to earn extra points (you can never lose points doing this), and then all the points you have earned since taking the survey and playing the mini-game are added together and you may put it into a prize drawing of anything you like. They typically have cash rewards to choose from, up to $5000, furniture of some sort, a vacation type package, shopping cards, etc.

I think they are a good site, and you can add all the members of your household in order to take surveys under your account.

I'll look into the cash bit and see what I come up with on that.

It looks like now they only pay cash when the company conducting the survey makes themselves responsible for doing so. However, you also have the chance to be invited to special studies, which generally have a cash reward as well. For the study I participated in, NPDOR had a program to download that would take note of the types of programs you use while connected to the internet. Very non-invasive, in general. I believe I participated for two years, and was paid $30 to do it. It was just a tiny little program that started up with your computer.

You may wish to learn more about this company through www.npd.com also.

As a note to their surveys: they are usually 10 minutes or less, some surveys are recurring, where you just describe what you've bought in the past 4 weeks, etc. I find them one of the best of all the survey groups I participate in.

On a side note, I will pay attention to the surveys I get in the next two weeks and either come back or post an article along the same lines as the one you've done here. I think earning money through the internet is wonderful and that there should be more ways to do it (and easier ways!)

I use MyPoints, my kids all belong to WRInsiders (which, for those asking, is ONLY for kids- not adults!!), I do Associated Content, I occasionally ebay stuff, and I do stuff here. I also belong to Pinecone Research, Cafe Press, & Cash Crate (though, I don't use them -at all-, as Treasure Trooper is the same thing- with MUCH better payout).

For the year of 2007 alone, I've earned $735.35 online and through rewards programs I use at the gas station, and such. Not great, but not bad for a stay at home mom.

I love mypoints because the points add up quickly; I will probably be able to redeem them for a $25 gift card for Olive Garden in time for my husband's birthday.

I have tried a lot of the survey sites, but not many of them include Puerto Rico, so I decided to stop looking, because most of the times I signed up and received an email to complete a survey, I would find that it was not available for me.
