This article has been updated to reflect my newest groups, so here I am again letting you all know about the groups I own & to send out an open invitation to join any of these that might be of interest to you.
I currently own 8 unique groups here on Gather, all VERY different from each other. I like to keep my groups really fun and I try to switch my featured articles at least once a week.
I like to think of myself as a nice group owner because I try as hard as I possibly can to comment on every article & picture that is submitted to each and every one of my groups. I also like to think that I am a responsible group owner because I try as hard as I can to keep the content on topic. I try to send out a group email to my members prior to doing any group cleaning, to let you know that removal of content is nothing personal. I accidentally click on the wrong boxes when publishing to groups, and I know that we are all human... especially when some of us are subscribed to hundreds of groups, or we're in a hurry.
The only reason I say "try" is because I am a stay at home mom to 3 boys & a husband, so taking care of all of them and the house does take up a majority of my time. I still love my Gather friends and I have worked very hard on here since I joined to earn those friends.
If any of these groups below interest you in any way, please feel free to join up and start publishing to my groups. I would also love to hear from anyone who has written their own articles listing the groups they own, so I can join some more of YOUR groups. Feel free to link to any of your own content or groups in the comment boxes too.
