I am so sick and tired of this drill. It's like my husband can never keep a credit card in his wallet. He just phoned me and told me he couldn't find the card, and he might have accidentally left it with a pizza delivery guy. This is probably the 6th time he's done it.
I am not worried about fraudulent charges, because my credit card company is very good at protecting me. But what bugs me is that I have to reset all the automatic charges I have linked to this credit card (such as my home phone bill, cell phone bill, speed pass, etc), and update my Upromise account. And I won't get the new credit card account number until a week or 10 days later after I receive the new replacement card, so I can't do anything now. Some of my bills are due in the next week, so do I wait for them to charge to the old credit card, or do I close the old account and just let those charges default!? Arrggghhh. And every time when I have to do this switch, I almost always forget a couple of automatic charges (such as home owners' insurance, which only charges twice a year), and end up with a default notice.

If my hubby couldn't keep track of his credit card, I think I would have to take it away from him. Cash only!! I know that sounds mean but goodness sounds like you have to go through a lot of work now just cause your hubby can't keep up with his credit card.
Yeah I will call the company with the almost-due bill soon.
Thanks for listening! I just needed to vent.
I think I should probably listen to Shelley and get him a separate card account. Right now we have the same account, so every time when he messes up, I have to close our account. But if he gets his own separate account, then I wouldn't have to go through the trouble..... Hum, GOOD IDEA!!
lol to the spousal abuse of credit cards...hehehe
