I definitely won't watch it. But I think his wife should be the one to make the decision about showing it. She might choose not to watch it but be willing to let others see it.

I wouldn't watch it either. I've seen a person die before and there was no pleasure in it whatsoever. I say let the man rest in peace. What gain is there in releasing the video to the public?

I would not watch it, and would rather remember him smiling and for all his documentries and films on tv and I don't think they should show that to anyone.

I personally would not want to view it but I am sure that there are people out there that would for some reason want to see it. I agree with Mark, let him rest in peace, but then again, Steve did say that he wanted his death recorded........His family should have the final say on whether it is released, and we have the final say on whether we actually watch.

I don't want to see it. I am looking forward to the run of shows they will do in memory of him, I think that is enough. There are enough horror/killing movies out there without having to show a real death in action!

Okay television exeuctives...show some taste...especially in honor of his family and his so many young fans. I too am looking forward to watching Discovery's marathon of his shows.

No they shouldn't show his death. Just because Irwin said that doesn't mean he meant that. Not to mention the fact that it has been several years since he actually said that. Many people who don't actually think they are going to die make silly requests like that.

Do you really think the guys who say they want keg parties on their graves expect their family to actually do that.

He died the way he lived, experiencing life on the edge. I don't like the snake shows and the crocks aren't my favorite either but if you are going to dive in areas like that then you should see first hand what can happen. It is like anything else you don't want to see, click the remote or get up and change the channel but if his wife and children want it shown then by all mean show it but not as a for-profit venture.

I believe we should honor his wishes and show it because that is what HE wanted. No one is forcing you to watch it and why not honor his death by showing what he had asked
us to show thats what he would have wanted.
