(This was a story I wrote way back in 8th grade I believe and it was in response to a poem about an ode on time, or age,or something. Hope you enjoy)
"Will we stay forever, you turn and ask me? And I would say without a doubt, we will. How will we stay forever, you ask. I stop and think about it. Looking around I see the sun setting over the horizon, making the world a glow with its brilliance, and letting its light dance playfully on the ocean waves. I turn to you and say, we will write our names on the beach and we will put all our emotions into writing it.
You turn and look at me sadly, but that’s not forever though, the waves will wash our names away, you say. I look deeply into you and tell you “The waves will wash away our names and will also wash away the emotions attached with it, but the ocean will now carry our names. It will carry our names from here to around the world letting us see places we’ve only dreamt of. Take us through stormy and turbulent times, but also through gentle, calming, and peaceful times. What we cannot see or do in our remaining lives, our names will travel together on this world.
Then on one night when our names have done and seen all they can, the moon will look down upon the ocean and see the soft glow of our emotions surrounding our names. Smiling it will send out its light over us carrying us to its inner care. Then it will whisper our names to the stars and the stars will rejoice and dance in brilliance, forever holding our names in place. And when we no longer exist on this world, and when the world no longer exists, we will travel to the stars and find our names, then we and our names will be united again and bring back memories, when we first wrote our names in the sand putting all our emotions into it. And together forever we will stay shining with the stars, till the end of time, and so forever. "

I was actually wondering if anyone knew of the poem that got me started on it, so I figure if I put it under poetry someone might know what it was.
