Is there anything more conducive to meditation than staring into the depths of a campfire?

Sitting by the edge of a lake

On a crisp fall evening

Friends all around

Good conversation

The wind is no longer even a breeze

All is peace.

Hey, thanks Nancy.
The photos were hot too.
Very nice Ron. I need to camping now too . . . in a non-altered state.
I also very clearly remember you making some darn good egg rolls over the campfire at just about that same location one summer when we had kind of a lean-to village going on. I think Mike Wage, Dave Tjossem, you and I were the inhabitants.
All good stuff . . . L8R
I do remember those good eggrolls too. Oily as sin, but nothing a 24-year-old's diet couldn't handle.
