Sent to me by a friend. Not sure where he got them.

1- Reheat Pizza
Heat up leftover pizza in a nonstick skillet on top of the stove , set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.
2- Easy Deviled Eggs
Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal , mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients , reseal , keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly , cut the tip of the baggy , squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.
3- Expanding Frosting
When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store , whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar and calories per serving.
4- Reheating refrigerated bread
To warm biscuits , pancakes , or muffins that were refrigerated , place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.
5- Measuring Cups
Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out.
6- Goodbye Fruit Flies
To get rid of pesky fruit flies , take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dish washing liquid , mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!
7- Get Rid of Ants
Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it , take it "home", can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains , but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

Here's one I just read this morning. Add a teaspoon of oil to the water when you are boiling your eggs for Easter (or any time, really). Just the tiny amount that penetrates the porous shells is enough to make peeling the eggs a BREEZE!
Gracias por tus palabras en mi foto. Eres encantadora, como siempre.
Hmmmmmm?!!! Need to try this and see.
Thanks Priscilla....
Gracias a ti, John.
Lately the price of bread has jumped sky high here, so in the last month or so we have been buying our bread in bulk at the bakery's outlet. I was glad to see that tip.
But for toast, we take the bread right out of the freezer and put in the toaster...I love the texture afterwards.
Nice to see you around, Sonia.
Doing our food and Emergency Closet today!
I've heard the pizza tip before and I use it often. Thanks for the tips!
Glad you find them helpful, Magi....
Risa, I too get fruit flies in the summer and thought that was a simple way to try to get rid of them.
You're welcome, Christine!
Tonia, they are a problem here year 'round....I hate them with a passion!
One night just a few weeks ago, on my way to bed I noticed a trail of ants all along the hallway wall - I started following it along and the trail went into the linen closet....when I opened it, it was like a huge city in there, all along one wall they had built these huge nests and we ended up first having to put all of the towels in big plastic bags to take outside....shake them and then put them all in the washer. At 10 PM that was not fun at all......
What I could not understand is how fast they made themselves at home in there and built 'this city" as the linen closet is one we go into often to get towels and such...!
And Sonia, oh, that does sound like a nightmare. I guess it is the price to pay for living in a lush, tropical climate - the insect life abounds!
Yes, insect life abounds.....not too farfetched to see centipedes and such in the house. The ants really bother me, though, and I police them like a mad woman.....
