The simple truth is that the current worldwide economic crisis is forcing all of us to tighten our belts and look at ways in which we can either earn more money, save money...or both! One of our biggest expenses is of course food so it stands to reason that we should examine how much we are spending in this department and ways in which we can reduce this amount. Unfortunately, the danger here is that the cheaper items which we resort to buying are likely to be processed in a way which is not exactly inducive to good health and that consequently, although we may be helping our pockets, we are damaging our bodies.
