Please, please, please.....read this!
I hate to decline articles submitted to our "Kitchen Tricks, Hints & Tips" group, but we keep receiving articles that do not comform to the purpose of this group.
Please pay attention to the group description!!!
The main thing to remember is that we only accept hints or tip articles or a recipe that shows a definite trick or simple way to do a chore easier, cut out extra work, or a new technique or new idea for doing a traditional job.
ONLY kitchen/food/cooking related tricks, hints or tips.
This is NOT a recipe site group, so don't just send a recipe...
For an article with a recipe to be accepted, is has to show some sort of technique, or simple way to do a particular job. The technique is the main focus, not the recipe.....It has to be either original by the member who contributed it, or it has to have a legitimate source clearly stated.
No plagiarism allowed. That also means that we will not accept something taken from a newspaper, magazine, website, etc., if it has just been cut and pasted with no source available. NO COPY & PASTE. If you are explaining a technique, use your own words.
It has to show a source, regardless of where it comes from, including your Nana or Aunt Lily.

There are many little simple ideas, tricks, hints and tips that can make cooking fun and cut some time off from long involved preparations - come and share yours! You CAN post a recipe IF it illustrates a particular cooking technique.

But, as I explained, this group is not about recipes.....so hopefully we will get more interesting techniques, tricks, hints and tips from now on!
I've got a group or two I need to do this with. Damn!
As I can get to them, I will be re-reading each and every article submitted and already accepted, and will be deleting those who don't comform to the guidelines of the group description.
This month is a bear for me, so it will take a while to get this job done properly.
I understand your guidelines, I'm not much of a writer ,But I understand where your coming from when people post to every group they are in and not understanding the guidelines for each group is different.
I also think the new publishing page is hard to read when you are going threw groups for publishing you only catch part of the group name and there are so many groups that are simular in name or start with the same.
If I was one of the posters I appoligize,I thought what I had subbmited on 1/17/2008 was a kitchen tip ,please let me know if you feel different,
