Spring onions = scallions, not shallots. Shallots are another member of the lily family.
Rasher = slice or strip of bacon, the whole thin, the streaky bit and the back bit.
Gammon is a slice of ham cured in a special way.
Single cream - light cream.
Clotted cream has no US equivalent and is very hard to get here.
We have sultanas AND raisins in the UK, too!
Shell steak is a new one on me - but it may be an English cut. English and Scottish butchery is done slightly differently and often has different names for the cuts.
Green beans are often known as French beans.
What we call aubergines are termed eggplants in Australia and also I think USA?
Coriander seeds need to be heated to extract their flavour.

I have seen (especially in British cookbooks on Indian cuisine) the herb Americans call cilantro referred to as "green coriander" - which makes sense when you consider it is the green part of the plant whose seeds give coriander.
Strictly speaking Canadian bacon is not the same thing as Ayrshire or Wiltshire "back bacon", which although cut from the loin as is the Canadian variety is cured and cut differently, with a tail of fat that Canadian bacon does not have. The result is something that although meatier than the American version (and with less shrinkage) is crisper and more flavorful than the ham-like Canadian version.
