Grocery shopping and cooking dinner are my worst nightmares.
It's not really the cooking itself, it's that time you stand in front of the refrigerator and cupboards trying to find out what to cook.
Grocery shopping entails guessing what I'm going to buy as I walk through the store. I've spent up to 3 hours in the store, sifting through coupons and comparing brands and prices. I cannot tell you how much money I've spent on fruits and vegetables only to have them rot in the refrigerator because I really didn't have plans to use them.
No wonder I dread the grocery store!
Well, I found the perfect Web site that has helped me save time and money. Menu Mailer has many different types of menus, from the low-carb, frugal mailer, heart healthy, crockpot dinners and more!
With this site, you are sent a weekly grocery list in your email along with 6 recipes for the week. They only do 6 recipes because studies show most households eat out at least 1x a week. The recipes are delicious and healthy (I'm aware its hard to believe those 2 words can go together).
If you cannot afford the cost of the subscriptions, they also have books you can purchase with a years worth of menus and grocery lists.
Enjoy!!! http://www.savingdinner.com
