I thought I would let you know of a couple of cheap solutions to either stocking stuffers or gifts for the little kids in your life. These ideas will help you look smart, give inteligent gifts, and make the family you give the gift to a little bit brighter.
1) Do not be afraid of going to a dollar store. These stores are jam packed with little goodies to clean your house, to decorating it. The also have great kid toys.
2) Giving the gift of reading will enrich the child's mind with literacy and help take them to a magic spot.
Some books you get are pop up books, hard cover books if you have little ones under 5
If you have a child over 5 try giving them paper back books
All of these you can pick up at your local Dollar Store
I wound up picking up two Big Bird and the Magical Tree Seasame Street Books
3) Giving toys can be difficult but if you look hard enough and think hard enough you can find great toys that will only cost a buck but will last in the child's mind forever. They also make great christmas stocking stuffers.
4) The young and the old will love the great selection of dvds that have clasic cartoons, and movies for them to watch. Just watch the rating on the video. You would not want to pick up a movie that is rated r for a kid.
I wound up spending eight dollars and I recieved a great calender, pocket callender, Flash Gordon DVD, 1929 book, and a cool notebook to be my journal. I got all this at the dollar store and building 19
