Kyleigh's Story - "Cool!"

Kyleigh wanted to watch Lion King once again. The movie was playing the scene where the old monkey was drawing baby Simba on the side of the tree.

Kyleigh was all smiles and said, "Hou zi hua xiao shi zi. (The monkey is drawing a little lion.) Cool!"

My jaw just about dropped. Kyleigh must have picked that up from the other kids at school.

It's too bad the people at Disney couldn't have been more original and had to copy Osamu Tezuka's Jungle Emperor more commonly referred as Kimba the White Lion that he had made in the 1960's. It's neat that she knows a bit about two languages.
