Making Money from Twitter

I just joined a site where I can make money from my "tweets" on Twitter.  It's called Magpie.  Basically, for every so many tweets, an ad is tweeted in your name.  You can control how many ads come be placed after how many tweets.  I have mine set for one ad for every five tweets and one tweet with my referral link every other day. I don't want to scare off my followers with all kinds of advertising.

They pay you through Paypal in Euros, but it is converted to dollars.  The minimum cash out is 50 Euros.  I have no idea how long that's going to take to earn.  It said I could earn about 2.60 Euros a month, so it will be a while.

For those who don't know what Twitter is, it's a place where you "microblog".  That is, you type in a very short message to send to a group of followers.  A "tweet" is one of those microblogs, they usually have about 140 characters.

So, what do you thinK?  Have you heard of this site before?

I don't really tweet that much, so I haven't posted any ads yet. I will quit if I start losing followers because I get a lot of traffic here to Gather and my blog through Twitter.

Have heard the name before, that's all. I know you got tired of Inbox Dollars taking so long for payout. Do you really want to do another one that tells you up front it will take over a year? I know I don't.

I am actually still pretty active on Inbox Dollars and I love it. I've already been paid once there and am getting along good to my second payment. It only took me a few months to get paid on Inbox Dollars.

I already do Twitter. This one just puts ads to my name. Twitter is very easy, I've been doing it for a long time. I would Twitter for free, anyway. Might as well make a few dollars at it.

I still haven't gotten an ad to put up other than my referral link. I wonder if they're just starting out. Like I said before, I would Twitter anyway for free.

I've not heard of it. I'm not sure that I'd have time for it. I did not reach my goal last night of commenting each friend 10 times. I got through 2 1/2 friends and got busy with work. Maybe I'll just use a goal of 2 -3 friends per day to comment. Seems more realistic to me lol.

I just have this little application and when I feel like doing an update, I just write it. You can only write 140 characters. It hardly takes time to do at all.

I was earning, but then I saw something about Twitter considering what they're doing spam and actually closing accounts.  I love my Twitter account, so I decided to quit the program.
