If you saw my last photo essay, you already know that six years ago today, my husband and I were enjoying a wonderful honeymoon trip on Maui. We took little trips around the island almost every day, and had a great time seeing the sights and inhaling that incredibly chill, relaxing Hawaiian vibe.
This photo essay details (in pictures, of course) the day that we visited Mt. Haleakala. Haleakala is a volcano that rises WAY up out of the island and towers over everything around itself, creating quiet the striking - and almost intimidating! - figure.
