So Many Things, So Little Time...

Just a rant.

It feels like I have so many things to do, yet so little time to accomplish them.

My original intention for posting on Gather is to make it a live journal that grows up with my daughter Kyleigh.  I am mostly caught up on the articles, I started to post images from last Christmas, and I will start upload videos after I catch up with the photos a little bit more.

I still yet to do my taxes.  I cannot use "not getting my husband's W-2" as an excuse any more, because I have had it sitting on my desk for at least 3 weeks.

I am only getting about 4 hours of sleep every night because I can't do any personal things until I put my baby to bed, and I have that much work and non-work related email and other things to deal with.

We have not yet found a new nanny that we are happy with, and my mom is leaving for good in 2 weeks.

I feel like I am constantly trying to catch up and I'll never get caught up with things.  I feel so exhausted all the time.

Ok, thanks for listening to my rant.

No worries. There is always time, even though we feel like we need another six hours added to the day. Make sure you take the time and just step back from everything for a little bit, recollect yourself.. the dive right in again!

Four hours of sleep each night is not healthy! I hope you can catch up on the weekend..... For sure, it seems like "there's no rest for the weary" when you have little kids.
Selene, throttle back on non-essential things such as Gather or you will burn out. Everything is a matter of priorities - your health and your immediate family come first.

It is hard but one day they will be grown up and gone and I will get my rest. That's what I keep telling myself anyway!!

I hear you...and definitely can relate. Apparently the answer is all about prioritizing and focusing only on those things important. Unfortunately I have not mastered this myself yet, so any advice I could give wouldn't be from experience. LOL.

I hope you find a nanny. I think I told you before I found a retired nurse thourgh our church, this was before I was married. My wife likes to be hands on full time so we had to let her go.
I am on here cause I am crazy mad in love with my wife and this is her thing.
I know what you mean about being on here.
I kinda got addicted to.

I have been putting of the taxes too and like you, I used to have an excuse, but don't anymore...I will get to it!
