I was tagged for a game called ‘truth or dare’ by wiaka.
Your job is to guess which of the following five declarations by me, is hogwash.
My only child was born on father’s day, three minute before midnight.
I like to eat seafood sometimes, most especially fresh grilled salmon steaks. I built a small wooden boat, have gone out hundreds of times on the Sacramento river, and numerous lakes; but have never seriously considered going fishing on it.
The administer of an IQ test given to all prospective employees at a chemical lab was dumbfounded when she returned to announce; "Time is finished", and I responded; "Whew, so am I" as I marked my last answer, exhausted. She stared and said "But no one ever finishes". I realized in that instant that I had done something very stupid, for I knew I had answered every one of the questions right.
Though I was born in Chicago, to US citizens, I spent several years in rural England as a very young child. I have only vague memories of that period, and to this day am not sure why we moved there.
While I own a standard Saturn automobile, and drive it quite often, I have not put gas in the car for over a month, and probably won’t for another.

the only one in the whole article. great stories though.
And if that's not the lie, I really want to know how to drive a car without gas!
In fact, I just love to be on the water, and in nature, and fishing seems like a tedious distraction.
I am going with #2, and mind youhave not looked at the other answers nor yours, you just can't be on the lakes and the Sacramento River w/o fishing. I live in Redding and yes we fish the river and lake.

(Noooo, don't go with two, I just told everyone that one is true)
I do eat fish, but not real often.
My favorite trip is to get someone to drop us off in the park marina in Redding, and spend five days drifting and camping down to Red Bluff. It's changing as the housing tracks go in, and when I first did it the trip was like being an explorer, but it's still pretty neat.
OK. I'll tell you, I always answer people if I can.
#5 is true. The trick I played was to say I drove the car quite often, which is true, but I don't drive very far. I happen to live in a modest sized town (18,000) in a location that is roughly equidistant from the various shopping and office areas here. I rarely make more than a two mile round trip. It takes a lot of two mile round trips to drain a gas tank.
The cool part for me is that I live on a quite "dead end" street, and the back of my property adjoins a large open creek "flood plain" that is essentially natural. So while I am a few minutes from everything, it is almost like living in the country. But, no magical cars.
Which is kinda weird, since it was a query from you which inspired my lie
You once asked me (on a thread I think), whether I had spent some of my early years in a country where REAL English was spoken. I told you I had not.
Apparently I'm not really the center of your universe.
Well, maybe you're not the center of my universe...but you're a STAR in my galaxy!!
I think that's the same year as mine. Nice car. (unfortunately it doesn't get all that great miles per gallon . . . well, unfortunate if you must drive long distances . . )
