Larry Burkhead has been determined to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby girl with no room for doubt.  He just came out of the courtroom in the Bahamas and made the announcement.  He is now headed to the toy store.  None of the other details have been worked out yet.  The DNA expert has also spoken at the courthouse press conference confirming the test was 99.999%.

The rest of the details will have to be worked out later this week.

While we are all sick of hearing about this, it is in the news every day and many people have been anxiously awaiting the results since Anna Nicole's untimely death.

Janet, I agree but the look on his face was the same as any proud father after his baby is just born.
Eileen, it's not quite over yet. Stern says he is not going to fight Birkhead for custody and the court will rule Friday on the custody I suppose.
I think it was faked. First of all, Birkhead is not the same species as ANS. While neither is human repeated experiments have shown the impossibility of cross breeding.

Thanks. I too, I must admit was waiting to see who the father was, although all along I thought the baby looked like Larry Burkhard.

I'm glad this little girl's paternity is finally settled. Perhaps now she'll have a chance at having some stability instead of constant court battles and the like. At least she's too young to be cognizant of all that has transpired around her during her short life thus far. And at least Birkhead started fighting for his paternal rights as soon as she was born and didn't wait until Anna died to come out of the closet.

Amy, unfortunately for Birkhead, I don't think the legal battles will be over for years to come. There are several lawsuits in the courts all pertaining to Anna, some are legal suits against her and some are concerning her ex-husband's estate. I hope Birkhead provides stability for her though and keeps her out of the public eye as long as he can.

I'm not surprised. I was saying he was the father months ago, although I was hoping it was Howard, just so that Dannielynn would not be ripped away from the last person she has know since birth.

Jennifer, that is a good point but I wonder how involved Stern was in death of Daniel and Nicole. Something that is still being investigated. He didn't seem to do much to keep drugs out of their hands. It still remains a sad story.

I think that Larry Birkhead will make a better father than Howard K. Stern anyway. It seems a little nuts that Stern had such an influence in ANS and Daniel's life but this little girl deserves better and it sounds like she just might get it.

Isn't it sad what money does to people, or what they do for it. But I think Dannielynn is better off knowing the truth, than being made to live a lie, so I'm glad the truth came out. Sad for her no matter what the outcome of paternity, though.

No offense against your post, but I never cared about Anna and all that went on with her from the start. This entire story has been drawn out and put in the forefront of the news WAY too much. Those who were so interested in the entire situation really need to get a life. I knew the baby wasn't mine, so I had no interest in who was at all.
