January 2nd Isn't a Day Off For Us

President Bush has declared Tuesday, January 2nd as a National Day of Mourning in observance of the passing of President Ford, and government offices will be closed.

I had hoped that we will get a day off too, because our clients (federal government agencies) will be off. However, the company announced that we will be open for normal business hours on January 2nd.

What a bummer!

I too was hoping for a day off. Our client is Social Security and they will be off on tues. Alas, we still have to come in. Double Bummer!

I would assume there are other clients that are not the federal government that will demand your attention. It could be worse. You could be a FARMER. WE NEVER GET A DAY OFF.
