This morning I was walking towards my work's building entrance from the parking garage area. A guy behind me, apparently working for the cafeteria in the lobby, was dragging a huge pallet cart with a lot of beverage bottles on it. Another guy, an office worker, was walking behind him.
When I reached the building entrance, I pulled open the heavy glass door and stood behind it. I was holding the door for the guy behind me, because of all the beverage bottles he was transporting. However, the guy behind him quickly walked passed him, and entered the building through the door I was holding.
I waited until the cafeteria worker entered the building before I entered. When I went to the lobby, the other guy was still there waiting for the elevator. I don't know if he intentionally avoided eye contact with me, or maybe it just worked out that way, but somehow I felt that he was a little embarrassed of his behavior earlier. I just thought it was a funny moment, because he did not really save any time by cutting off the cafeteria guy.
