1980s Pop star Falco is getting a street named after him. Falcogasse (Falco Lane) will be official on June 5th in Vienna. For those of you that dont remember Falco, He made it big with "Rock Me Amadeus" and Der Kommisar before dying in 1998 as the result of a car crash.
As mentioned in my previous 80s news post, Henry Lee Summers was arrested for methamphetamine possession along with other charges. He has been arraigned and his court date with a jury is in June. If he is convicted, he faces a possible 9 year prison cell block tour.
Remakes are the latest Hollywood thing and here's a fresh batch of movies coming out with not so fresh titles. Clash of the Titans which will have Liam Neeson as Zeus and Ralph Fiennes as Hades. Also on the remake collision with Hollywood is The Kungfu Kid. (Can you guess which movie this is taking after?) While it is not being billed as a remake, it is getting slammed by fans of the original Karate Kid. This one stars Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. Hellraiser and even Short Circuit are being remade. *sigh!*

Remakes have long been the staple of Hollywood's films. I'm a lover of classic movies, and have been surprised many times that a movie I had only known in more recent times had been done long before, and usually better.
I might have to see the Clash of the Titans one though - wonder who they will cast as Medusa
