Rick Springfield :facts

Rick Springfield real name is Richard Lewis Springfeild.He was born in Australia on August the23,1949.He started playing a gutair as a teenager and joined a band call Zoot .After his move to England with his parents.

To get ahead in his music he moved to America but struggled with his first album.

In the 70's he filled in for television roles so he could have money to make his music.

His first album "Working Class Dog",came out in 1981with his number 1 hit ,"Jessie's Girl" He chose singing over acting which caused alot of bad critics.

He made 17top 40 hit's so people changed there minds and loved his singing.after he stared with songs like "Jessie's Girl" and "Love Somebody",as well as his other great songs.

I have liked him since I was 12 .Over 22 years ago.

The first concert I ever saw was a Rick Springfield concert. Loved him on General Hospital, too!

Never been a fan of his music but loved him on General Hospital. He recently reprised his role of Dr. Noah Drake for a limited run.

Oh and his music was okay but I was working in top 40 radio at the time Jessie's Girl came out and after hearing it several times a day over and over again made me want to never hear it again.

Rick still rocks!!!! after all these years!!! He has a new CD out called the Day After Yesterday. The CD shows his softer side and it's a remix of 80's tunes. I love it, but then again, I love all of his music............Crystal G.
