Finally I've completed another quilt. It's taken awhile while I waited for supplies to finish it, but in the meantime I have the other 4 in the works to make my Christmas goal.
This one is for my middle daughter, Heather.
Remember, about 90% of the materials I am making these with I have either been given, bought at yard sales, or at second hand stores. This one is make with several different sizes of squares. The thread I paid .25 for each spool at the Etc. shop, the material is mostly out of a .50 bag of scraps I bought at a yard sale. 2 packages of the binding I bought at the Goodwill store for .49 each. It wasn't enough so I did have to buy 1 new package at Wal Mart. The center is a mattress pad that we had around the house. The sheet used on the back I bought at my church yard slae for .25.

My mom made me one out of pint crown royal bags, I have a whole lot left over if you would like them.
That one is very pretty. I sure hope the recipients will appreciate them at Christmas time!
Please keep posting to our group.
Here is a website I just came across yesterday from someone who stopped in the office. His wife makes patchwork clothing - HERE
Seriously, very cool. I'd love to have that skill.
