What type of camera do you love to photograph your projects and family?

I have not been to savvy about cameras, but I think I need a new one.  Everytime I load pics from my camera to my computer, I have to change batteries in the camera.  And, the polaroid digital camera doesn't make it easy to take good pictures, or adjust focus.  So I really want some suggestions...something easy to use that makes my hard work on my art show well.   Thanks

My camera is a digital slr made by Olympus. And Olympus evolt e-500. I only have 2 lenses for it, and the pictures my hubby takes are much better than the one I take (he went to school for photography) but its still the favorite camera I'v ever had.

My husband got me a Nikon coolpix digital camera for Christmas last year and I love it.

It's a point and shoot type so it's easy to use, but has a nikon lens so it takes great photos!
