Dollhouse Link

Like all little girls, I wanted a dollhouse as a child. I never got one and I think that's why, at 45, I still want one. No, I'm not going to breakdown and get one. LOL. But I was reminded of the whole dollhouse thing when I came across a great link the other day. It's link of printables for your dollhouse--everything from movie posters to computers! There are also three settings at the bottom of the page so that you change the size and scale. This page is soooo fun. Even though I dont have a dollhouse, I thought about printing the maps or movie posters on cardstock and using them in a scrapbook page or on a handmade greeting card. Even if you don't use these, its fun looking at the things available and playing with the scale!

This is too cool! My daughter is a freak over anything that is a scaled down version of things. The boxes will be great to print out and give to her in her stocking this year.

I just recently purchased my 1st dollhouse. I got it at a thrift store for $25. I don't have any daughters or granddaughters and I'd always wanted one. I am having so much fun buying furniture and things for it. You don't have to have a dollhouse to work with minis. You can make a roombox. Make a room and decorate it and put it in something clear so that you can display it and keep out the dust. There are some great mini groups on Yahoo that you can get ideas from. This is a good group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dollhouseminiatures2/. The people in these groups are so imaginative and artistic!
