More Looming

I have been having fun with my Knifty Knitter looms. I sail from one project to the next. Here are my most recent projects.

I made a scarf for a co-worker by making two thin strips and then hand stitching the strips together in a cross-over pattern.

I made a shrug for myself. It's basically a shawl with cuffs. I love the way it looks. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet, so I don't know how functional it is.

In this second photo of the shrug, you can see my current project in the background. I am making a purple shrug for my parnter. I altered the pattern just a bit by making it wider. I think she'll enjoy having it around her shoulders on chilly days.

Those are beautiful. I used to knit alot but I had carpol tunnel surgery 3 times and my hands were never the same. I received a knitting machine for Christmas and am anxious to try it out.

Thanks for the compliments. I have had such fun with the knitting looms and surprise myself with things I make. I didn't like the gray and white scarf when I was making it -- I enjoy bright colors -- but knew my co-worker would like it. After I finished it, I didn't want to give it away!
