I also watched Oprah's show this week on Spirituality 101. She had the stories of a number of people who were very inspiring and who had found meaning in their lives even though they had experienced extremely trying circumstances. One was a woman who had gone into the hospital to have a baby and contracted that flesh eating bacteria. She had to have her arms and legs amputated as a result. Here she was with a new baby as well as another child at home and had to find the way to take care of her children.
