I've seen a dog barking at deer before, and the mother deer was very protective, urging her young ones to run away. Interesting to see the instinct to protect ones young at work in nature. Nice haiku Randy!

Great Haiku. I have always wondered how it is that deer are so easily frightened of so many things why they are not frightened of cars and headlights at night.
