Poliwonk, You are right, but our survival does depend on the depth of our circumstances. I agree that it does come down to our reaction but some events take longer, sometimes a lifetime to work our way through.

I don't think I will ever get over or top my current challenge. The challenge is to save humanity from destruction. Yes I know I am probably biting off more than I can chew but since I was the only one to figure out how we can do it it's up to me to do the job.

I wrote the book that contains a complete description of what we need to do. Now it's up to you to read the book. If you don't read the book you will not be a part of the solution.

What's the threat? Well there are plenty of threats: political threats (tyrany), economic threats, war, polution (global warming for example), geological ( super-volcanoes, earthquakes), biological (disease), and astronomical ( metiorites). Some of these threats the book can eliminate completely (those political and economic ones). But the solution in the book will also start us preparing to surmount the other threats as well. So far we are doing almost nothing about them.

Please read Invisible Hand and learn what you can do to help me save the world. (No it won't cost you any money at all, even the book is free here on Gather.)

I'm going there now Larry. It does sound like a bit of an overwhelming task you have taken on my friend. But somebody needs to step up. It may as well be you.

Oh, my, haven't you hit the nail on the head. Whether you want to or not, so very true. Human beings are amazingly resilient creatures, and until tested you never know just how much. Not so sure about the courage, as if I had had a choice, I wouldn't have surely, wished not to, but I did. Tis just what we do......
