Mother's Day Once Again

First of all I would like to wish every Mother a Happy Mother's Day.

My Grandmother was 86 when she died.  I was only 14 when my Mother died, she was only 39, and I lost my son six years ago, he was 16.

Hmm...does that help you all to realize you have something to be thankful for?

Hug your Moms, your siblings, your children, your family. Never take them for granted.

I completely understand this Carol. I lost one grandmother when I was 16, the other at 19, my daughter in 1994, and my Mom just passed on January 12th. It's going to be a little more difficult this year.

its why we need to show our loved ones how much we love them while we have them in our life....... sometimes we look back and regret time wasted, I look back and know that my mother KNEW how much I loved her, but I still miss her every single day not just on mother's day....... its been 21 years and I still cry for her

Katie, My Mom was 39 when she died. I was 14. My son died two years ago, he was 16. The article sounds a little confusing. I am so sorry for your losses. Hugs to you my friend.

Fran, I understand exactly where you are coming from. We have to cherish the precious memories, that's all we can do. But I guess we should be thankful for the memories.

And mine to you Carol. It is days like mothers' day that we can truly understand each others mixed feelings. We smile at the wonderful memories and our arms ache for the losses.
