Little stones make big mountains, Little steps can cover miles, Little acts of loving and kindness Give the world it's biggest smiles Little words can soothe big troubles Little hugs can dry big tears, Little candles light the darkness, Little memories last for years Little dreams can lead to greatness, Little victories to success It's the little things in life That brings the greatest happiness

The rules are very simple, and the group there is one of the finest. They are a competitive bunch, but they encourage each other. If you stop by and visit, go to the featured articles for the rules. I'll give you a little heads up. Every Friday I choose a 1st and 2nd place winner from all the entries. The 1st place winner gets to upload a paper trophy into their article and it's featured for the entire next week. The 2nd place winner gets to upload a 2nd place ribbon and their article is posted for the entire week. All 1st place winners get to participate in the Tournament of Champions the end of August. The winner of that event will win an autographed copy of my book DESTINY OF THE DIVAS that's being published in August. Does that tempt your tatstebuds? We'd love to have you with us.

This a fabulous work of 'beautiful simplicity'. I agree with Latasha ~ it should be on a greeting card. How adorable, too, is the font you've chosen.
I would also like to extend an invitation for you to join Poetry Play On Words. You would be a wonderful addition to our group. We would love to have you!
P.S. I love your icon! It looks great!
I have several "pieces" I have written since I lost my son. I really have never thought of them as poems, only thoughts. But I guess that's what poems are, right?
Your beautifully written poem exudes with slow release the importance of 'little things'. A masterpiece of innocent simplicity!
I would like to welcome you to Poetry Play On Words, Carol. Your work is lovely and we would be honored to have you.
*I am very sorry to hear that you have lost your son. Please accept my condolences.
