I want to thank you for all of the prayers and offerings of love and light.   My mother passed away early this morning at the hospice center in Hartford, CT.  My sister and brother had spent the day with her.  I was with my grandchildren getting a dose of much needed hugs.  

We had not expected it to happen quite so fast but we are very glad that she is no longer suffering.  We will be taking her ashes to Wisconsin over Thanksgiving week so a memorial service can be held with family and friends and she can be buried with our father.

Please take the time to have a colonoscopy done.  Early detection would have added years to my mother's life.

Linda I am sorry. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, We are not connected but read your articles. I try to get my BF to get a colonoscopy and he will not. he is 55. I am glad your mother is at peace now and not suffering.

Huggers Linda. It is kind of you to post a reminder about the colonoscopy. I lost a dear friend to cancer and had she had the test, she may still be here with us.

It was very saddening to read this. I offer my belated condolences, Linda. Since I am finishing up a half year of cancer treatment myself I can only affirm your message of prevention by scanning the body on a regular basis for possible tumors.

Linda, I just read about your mother's passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers for peace, love and comfort. I see your mother surrounded by the many loving souls that greeted her as she passed over to the other side. From the comments above I can see that you, too, are surrounded by many loving souls. Linda, when I commented on your letter to your Dad, I didn't know that you're Mother had passed away. I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope that each day gets better and better for you. I know how hard it is losing a Mom. My Mom died two months ago and I'm finally starting to get my joy back.

I am so sorry for your deep loss. I've also been there with my Mom and can say honestly that I didn't like seeing her suffer, but miss her still, every single day. Gentle Hugs to you, my friend, and please feel free to talk, if you need to.
