Relay For Life

Relay For Life is a fund raiser for Cancer Research. Our Caldwell County is held in May of each year and this is our 12th year. I am hoping that by creating this group we can share ideas on how to raise money to fight cancer that effects all of us in one way or other. There are so many who have survived cancer and we need to get their story out there so others will see that there is HOPE. Join me in getting this group going and share all of your ideas on fund raising or just share you story and prayer request. Contact the American Cancer Society at

We always support the american cancer society. My Mother in law and Grandmother in law both died a long painful death from cancer.

Connie thank you for signing up for this group. In my family, on both mother and father side we have lost loved ones to breast, colin, kindey and skin cancer. This is a cause I really believe in.

Do you have a Relay for Life event in your county? If so let me know what events you have. Thanks in advance for you help.

This is a great thing. The word needs to get out that yes people do survive. I have been clean for 15 years. I had kidney cancer. Today I live with one kidney. Also I have lost family members to this disease and before I was diagnosised all of them had passed away. Today I know that catching it early is the key. Thanks JoAnn for starting this group.
