I like my ability to be able to conne
ct with people. It is like reaching out to humanity and proclaiming "I am here for you". I am not here to judge you. Others will certainly step into that position gladly. I am not here to reject you; too many people have already done that. I am not here to change you. Countless people have tried to do just that. My quest is simply to change myself. I am hoping that the beauty of you will change me.
Every soul is beautiful. Every soul has something to offer. By getting to know you, you will indeed impart some of that beauty onto me. I am not here to impose society norms upon you. You know what they are already. You know what is expected of you and if you can deal with them or not. I am not here to listen to what the world has to say, but to hear what is in your heart.
For so long we have both buried our true feelings to please others. We have listened to family, friends, employers, and society in general. Many times these influences were well intended and at other times they were not. It is not to say that we did not grow and learn from our life's experiences. We would not be the wonderful people we are today if it were not so. But sometimes we cared so much about what other people thought of us or what we thought about others that we forgot the most basic truth. We forgot to nurture who are in the process. We gave all to others and denied ourselves.
Now we must begin the journey to heal from past hurts and move forward. We must grow like a flower; re-learn who we are and what we want from life. Like that beautiful flower we must bloom to perfection, in the image of our creator. We must listen to the chimes of our own heart and soul.
Your journey is not my journey. My journey is not your journey but our journey has a common goal and a common function. We strive to be the best that we can be. We strive for happiness and the ability to express our true hearts. When we are happy with ourselves, happiness in turn radiates from us. We become a beacon of love spread throughout the universe. Each single slice of joy, laughter, love and kindness we share with the world causes a ripple effect upon the sea of humankind. Soon other people will emulate the beacons of love that we have become and they too will join our love fest. The ripples will become tidal waves of love and understanding throughout the world and the world will truly become a better place.
My journey is not your journey. Your journey is not mine. However, I take comfort in the belief that all paths do lead to the one. Your path will take you down the road of love and understanding and my path will lead me to the same place. In time we will get to exactly where we want to be.
We may be at very different points in our path. One of us may be at the beginning, the other closer towards the end. We both will face obstacles, sometimes feeling the pressure and wanting to turn back, other times wanting to take the fork in the road that leads to the easy way out. But together we will make it as we continue along the path.
If I stumble you will pick me up. If I am ahead of you I will come back for you. We will meet each other half way as our souls connect. I promise I will hold your hand along the way if you promise you will hold my heart.

I might add that one should only ever look back with love at love and let everything else remain buried and gone. We seemingly walk different paths as we each follow our own star guiding us home, yet in truth we walk the gentle way together. Our seemingly different paths are, in essence, one. We only ever walk alone if we obstinately trudge along the road to nowhere - for such is its distinguishing feature. And in the doing, we walk lost in the wilderness, frightened and alone.
Love and blessings to you and to all who read this article - the gentle way is open and lies before you.
Thanks.
lol,
You have excelled yourself with this piece. You are an excellent writer and I applaud you.
Your message is intended for evryone and I wish everyone would take to heart what you have said here. Unfortunately, I cannot agree that every single person has a beautiful soul. At least, not at the moment. There is still too much violence and crime in the world.
But, you post gives hope and guidance to those that read it.
Thank you for lifting my heart.
But this piece was not intended for the criminals war monger etc, it was intended for the average person who has lost touch with the inner self, the person who has been told all of his or her life, he could be better, could do better, and nobody listens to the true person or what that person wants from life. Thus the person is depressed, or soul searching, or just feels bad about him or herself
this piece was from my creative writing series, I have posted many inspirational pieces
Keep up the good work. - Jeanjaz
and so poisitive, it touches the heart and soul.
Thank you... I feel much better today.

"I will hold your hand along the way if you promise you will hold my heart."
best last line I think I have ever seen.

I asked you to direct me to your most loved presentation and you delivered more than I ever expected!. As others here have pointed out, this is the stuff of human importance that deserves a worldwide audience.
I'm seeing a video montauge of sunrises and landscapes, of cultural depictions involving the daily activities of every kind of Human Being on Earth, the music in the background changes with the culture, while your words are spoken through the keyboards, flutes and harpsichord notes, music such as Suzanne Ciani has performed.
I sure would like to help you put this together if you arte interested!
Carol, I've tried a hundred times to present such a complete Together as One Someday kinda work but I cannot do it. Happily, you already have. I read every word and...hey, how'd you know about all those folks who rejected me??
You been snoopin' into my DIARY you SWEETIE???
I forgot what I wrote in this one thanks for bringing it back to my attention. I am not the artsy time they only thing I do is write, I can't draw pictures or create beautiful music, I wish I could. I don't know what you mean by put this together,
My suggestion may be far-out but what I imagined was your words put to music and scenery on a video. Whenever I read something beautiful I automatically hear the words through music and I picture the images that those words bring forth. I'm just now learning to put these pieces together on my computer.
Never mind my oddball musings. Your presentation is perfect unto itself!
oh it excites me that it could be put to music etc, go ahead hon, experiment with it do with it as you will, it does sound people they way you explain it.
And Carol thanks for reading Speculations but that's not my better work. 'Another Full Circle', Buddy's Tale, and Mom looks down from Mom Heaven, if you someday get the time, are works I'm proud of. 'Huntress' and 'Willard's monkey' contain harsh scenes but each took me many years to complete. They represent two of my lifeworks and I completely understand when folks don't comment on them, or on any of my works.
how many articles have you written?
I will mark these ones down and try to get to them as soon as I can.
I haven't written any articles but I've written some short stories. Full Circle is the story of a merchant marine who sails away from his ten-year-old daughter and then saves HER daughters life by...
Buddy's Tale tells of an aged German Shepherd who refuses to let Death take him before he finds a replacement Doggie to care for his beloved Humans.
Ah HA!! GOTCHA NOW!!
