I really enjoyed the humor as well as the feeling of strong emotions of Lee as I read this book. The author writes in a way that is easy for the reader to feel the emotions of the leading character. There is never a dull moment in this exciting novel. I highly recommend it.
The End of an Error is a wonderful, sometimes humorous and realistic look at Lee Emery's life. While reading this book, it is often easy to see ourselves in the same situation as Lee. Lee Emery is an empty nester. She is married to a man whom she grew up with. She is living in the house that she grew up in. Her life is filled with familiar things. She feels safe and secure and believes she is happy in her life just the way it is - until she publishes a memoir of her grandmother. She toured England with her Grandmother when she was just 18. It was there that she experienced love for the first time. After she publishes the memoir of her grandmother, she questions her own happiness.
Thoughts of her and her Grandmother in England keep rushing back into her mind. She is haunted by memories of Simon, her first love. She finds herself often wondering what her life would be like if she had married her first love.
These "what if" questions become so realistic that it changes her now perfect life into a whirlwind of events that take her back to England. She is given a second chance with Simon but is unsure if she wants to risk her life as it is now for that chance.
