At the harbor in Santa Barbara, I started taking photos of the Bird of Paradise, they were entirely out in full bloom. The hummingbirds looked like they were in paradise.
Wow, Nanina, what great captures!!!!!! I wish I had some of those around here in the summer or at least SOME place where I could photograph them! Just wonderful!
Wow! What an amazing sight this must have been, your photos are great. We have the flowers around here too, but the hummingbirds stay far away from the hustle of the city streets.
These photos are magnificent. The hummingbirds almost look like they're part of the flower itself. I've featured this in my Animals: Wild and Tame (Birds & Insects, too.) group.
Nanina, these are just absolutely beautiful. You must have a very good camera. Loved to see the green hummingbird so well. I remember those flowers from living in Hawaii. They really are so pretty. You did a fantastic job on these photos.
