What Gather means for me?

I have been an active participant on Gather for over a year and yet most people do not know me- so I felt it is time to do a introduction for anyone wondering?

I am no one really, but I am someone to me!

I am not a huge name in any industry- nor do I have millions of dollars to play with and I never have.

Just one person who loves to communicate and have dreams and I always did my own thing.

Points are not the reason I am here, but I am only a sincere person trying to use all available tools to communicate with my world.

When I first came to Gather I told them to give all my points to "the Make A Wish Foundation"- this group gives children with terminable disease a way to grant them a wish before they depart this world.

I have no affliation with them other than I have helped them in the past and believe in their purpose.

Everyone of us is here in this world for a very short amount of time- We are just travelers passing through and soon- all to soon we will be gone.

To give and to work to make this a better place is always my intention.

No one other than myself and my creator can be a valid judge to who I am.

My friends only know me from what I show them and most all of them and my family have already passed on.

I have three groups and about 500 connections- nothing big, but I have managed to accrue over 20,000 points.

I am the true under dog, because those that know me - know that I will defend high and low alike and I feel I practice integrity in my life.

Sure - one thing I have learned- not everyone will like you!

One day you might be on top and the next you will be on the bottom - This just being the way of the world.

Jealously and pettiness and a persistant mean spirit is not my way, because I try to just move on and forgive people that haven't a real clue as to who I am and what I am all about.

Everyone only sees a small part of another, yet we all make judgements and feel we have more information than we truly have.

My personal myth or belief is I am the type of friend that I have always wanted in my life and live each moment working towards feeling good about what I do.

I know in the end that what I do is actually just between my creator and myself.

I feel others pain and it hurts me when I hurt someone unknowingly and I always do my best to make amends for my transgressions and I have never sought out power over other peoples contributions'.

Many of you know that I produce video and write and take my photographs, yet most haven't a clue about what else I am doing in my life and most could care less.

If someone does not like my art they just remove it from their sites and I just move on and you can go way back here on my contributions to Gather to see that I have been quite prolific!

Variety entertainment has always been a special interest for me and against all odds I have managed to do quite alot in my short time on this planet.

So much of what I have created is lost in the dusty archives or what I call boxes and may never be seen, but it is there as only a testament that I was here and that I love to participate.

I look at it as my repositorie- or like a tomb- almost the same thing as having a head stone- which gives others some insights as to who I am.

I put myself equal to everyone I have ever met, not higher or lower.

Sometimes my communication might be missinterpreted and I agree sometimes my grammar and spelling has much to be desired.

I am in search of no fame or notariety, just someone who does their art for arts sake.

I have known many people in my life and looking at it from my art perspective, many could make judgements as to why I did and do what I do!

I try to clarify my opinions and sometimes use a comedic approach that some might not agree with, but it is just my way and I realize that this one dimensional approach to communicate with my world sometime leads me to conflict.

I feel I am always a carring and real person, quite accessible and I do what ever I can to make my life a better place than when I found it.

I have helped many people achieve their dreams in my own small way and love networking and above all- I do my best from moment to moment.

Philosophy is important to me and although I have made enemies in my time it was never my intention, because all I wanted to do is make more friends.

It is so easy to miss interpret intentions or to create in others a view that there is much more than what I have said or created and that is why when I began producing television- I did it, because the powers that were in authority told me that I would not ever succeed.

When I began -equipment was very expensive and bulky and yet now looking back at all that I managed to create in spite of all the nay- sayers- I look at it as quite a impressive body of work.

We pass this way but once and everything we do we have the choice to participate or not- to be or not to be- that is the question?

I am just like everyone I have ever met- human with faults trying to figure out what it is all about and wanting to speak up and say- Hey-this is me!

Time is the one thing that cannot ever be replaced and I realize how short a time we all have before we are called and then are gone.

What we leave behind are only our utensils, but the glint the essence- the magic will leave when it is our time to go.

I have always been the under- dog- fighting for what I feel is right, but never do I do so out of acrimony or spite.

I would rather just leave and go do my own thing rather than have to engage in the non sense of something that cannot ever be defended.

If this makes me a bad person to some- then so be it, but it isn't who I really am.

So the next time someone feels a need to attack someone -please look at this and know that maybe it was all unintentional and forgive and just move on and do your own thing.

I always try to forgive other trespasses and hope others will do the same and enjoy and give back to life, something lasting.

My videos never tried to make me a star- I wanted to show others talents far more than my own.

That I happened to be the one to do it is incidental and because I always share my stage with so many talent performers and entertainers who have their own audience- insures that some how my work will Live-on past my time!

So if anyone has been wondering- who I am and why I do what I do- this might help clarify it for them.

I have always believed your friends will know you in the first five minutes more than any acquaintance will in a hundred years.

If you have enjoyed my art then I feel good about it and it brings me joy to be able to have been given the opportunity to do my little part in making my stay here a little brighter place than when I found it.

So the next time anyone feels like destroying anything of anothers- I hope they will also know that they do it at the expense of their own soul and when all is said and done when we pass and find out the reason why we were here and why we did the things we did that hopefully our creator will smile and know that everything I did, do is for him!

The Lords prayer is my watch word rather than anything!

- and for Everyone I have ever met Know me from such a tiny perspective- and unless you can walk a mile in anothers shoes you can never know what make a person the way they are.

So it is not my reason here in life to judge- and in the end what I leave behind- small as it is ,will be only- that which remains- to show others-

A small part of my life and it will tell others a little more of a persons  who lived and loved and created and passed through this dark world in search of a greater meaning.
