Still two of my videos show they are blocked and this is really ridiculous!
Gather what do I have to do to get them unblocked- they are my productions and i have all the releases- So I have been posting my old videos to Gather this way since Youtube first began and i have over 300 classic, original, variety entertainment productions from my television show broadcast in the Arizona market for ten years- all of a sudden i look and the Gather editorial staff removed this video without any message to me.
This is a bit disturbing, because this is a great song from a great band and a tribute to a old friend of mine who has since passed away from Leukemia- he is the maracas player and his name was Ken ( Spiderman ) Singleton and i dedicated this song to him.
If this is a mistake why can't I then have it rectified and fixed?
I have sent it to the attention of Gather, but still no response!- yet it is still unavailable.
So I am doing it again the old way and posting my link to the video.
If anyone can just report someones work and have it removed without any notice then I can understand why so many people are feeling discontent with Gather and leaving feeling that their contribution does not count for anything!
Obviously I am not a point whore and do it for arts sake and unless this problem is resolved then I will stop participating on my Gather site and if that is what they want me to do- all they have to do is ask, but without any notice this video was removed- why?
You be the judge it is a great reggae song that was the signature song on one of Arizonas' favorite bands who i have featured and kept alive all these years- Walt Richardson and the Morning Star Bands' album and a classic piece to my video library.
I have all the releases and it aired thousands of times on youtube and other places.
It is one of my better production value performance videos' from my past productions.
Please everyone- who can watch videos- watch it and you tell me what is wrong with this picture ?
Please do whatever you can to get this message through to those editorial staff that I am sure never watched it and removed it arbitrarily.

If anyone who has a personal beef can flag something without a proper review then what does that say about Gather?
I am very concerned about this and want some kind of official response- Thank you!
I am not a point whore, just a real and active participant and without even a message from Gather to just pull it makes me wonder if there isn't much more to it than meets the eye- My time is worth more to me than to waste it on a site that doesn't appreciate my contribution.
I realize running a large website can be difficult, but come on- check it out for yourself and you be the judge?- What gives ? I posted this on August 31st and just today went in to check to see why no one had posted anything to what I thought was a great song and a tribute to my long departed friend who passed away from Leukemia and I dedicated this song to his memory and keep it alive by my re-posting- So who has a problem with that? I want someone in authority to address this situation is that asking to much?

There are several legitimate factors that could have led to this situation. Was the video published to Gather, or was it published on YouTube and you were linking to it through an article?
If the video was published to Gather, how do you know that it has been removed by the Gather editorial staff? Is there a message being displayed above the video?
Also, in the video caption did you identify that the performance, music and lyrics were all used with permission?
The answers to the questions above will assist me in determining the likely cause of this problem. Thanks!

Last night we were on a gather open talk about O.J.
I heard more on the news last night after 11:00 pm than at 7:00 am this morning.
Went back to reply to this it had a red flag stating that it had been flagged for copy right violations. But the info was still there.
I tell you I am sick about people who can't stand it if you have all
10"s than they come a long knock it down. It is not the gift cards it is just meanness on someone's behavior. Guess what it was on a prayer as well.

I am sure that - enough people now know what is happening here and until it is resolved I will stop using Gather-
My friends' know where to reach me if the care to -and we shall see if things change- Please tell your guides about this problem or if you have a direct line to Tom or any of the other higher ups- Then with your assistance things will change- or there will just be a mass exodus of more real people away from Gather-
