Hello Gather! The time has come again for another one of my CD Review, which is Sly And The Family Stone once again. This is the second CD of this fine Artist I have had the pleasure of reviewing. I'd like to hank everyone who read the review. Now here it goes.
This CD is Titled Dance To The Music. This CD is on the same accord of Stand, but to me the music on this particular CD is more funky, more of a get up and do your thing type of CD.
This Cd was originally recorded in 1967 and originally released in 1968. Looking at the cover you'd say WOW, because of the change in era's. Not very inviting. However the content of what is behind the cover is.
The Cd contains 15 songs, and they are as follows:
1. Dance To The Music
2. Higher
3. I Ain't Got Nobody (For Real)
4. Dance To The Medley a. Music Is Alive b. Dance In c. Music Lover
5. Ride The Rhythm
6. Color Me True
7. Are You Ready
8. Don't Burn Baby
9. I'll Never Fall In Love Again
Bonus Tracks
10. Dance To The Music (single version)
11. Higher (unissued single version)
12. Soul Clappin
13. We Love All
14.I Can't Turn You Loose
15. Never Do Your Woman Wrong(instrumental)
So there you have it Gather, if you like old school, your sure to love this one. I did. Oh yeah and let me not forget to mention, it's also good to listen to when your typing away. So until next time. Keep Gathering.
