Its amazing that someone with emphazema, who died from it, could make an album with such a strong voice. George Harrison's: Brainwashed is by far his strongest album. Even though he died before the last song was recorded, his son Dhani, recorded the final song and completed the album.
Musical Appraise:
Harrison's voice is truly beautiful. He makes it seem so easy, and yet he was dealing with horrible emphazema.
Most of his songs are rather catchy, I've found myself humming them when I'm doing my chores or out working somewhere. The music on this album really sticks with you.
His lyrics are also inspirational. Its like he wrote abstract poetry, then put music with it.
Musical Criticism:
Sometimes you cannot understand what he says, fortunately the album comes with a book containing all the lyrics, so you don't need to worry about not understanding him.
A couple of songs on the album aren't that great. Boring and too long. Nonetheless, every album has dud songs on them, eh?
There you have it, my first music review. Just kinda did it off the top of my head, but I mean all that I say about it.

George was my favorite Beatle. Beyond his peaceful point-of-view, his distinctive sound, and graceful stylings, there were his sultry looks. He was as handsome as he seemed shy, and I kept his life-sized lips just above my headboard for many of my adolescent years.
If you get a chance sometime, listen to an acoustic ragtime version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps by Eric Schoenberg. It is truly one of the most poignant music pieces ever written, even without lyrics.
Thanks for writing this. I will seek out the album.
It's terrific that we have his last works, but tragic that we must enjoy his artistry posthumously.
Gotta Love George also, thought he was the handsomest of the fab four, and had so much talent oozing......... world is better because he lived, you know.
Bart h. I will defianatly look for the song, it is a good one.
If you didn't know, Goerge Harrison also studied five different religions. Christianity, Buddism, Hinduism, Judaism, and of course Islam. You can tell by the lyrics and style of his different songs, which religion inspired him at the time he wrote the song. He is said to be one of the most liberal men of his time.
If there are any questions about any of the Beatles, I will be happy to answer them, or at least point you in the right direction to find the answer.
I only own "All Things Must Pass" and "Brainwashed".. his first and last albums. They are his strongest in terms of material in my opinion. I'm glad that he directed Jeff Lynne (of ELO and his producer) not to "tart it up" too much when it came to production, especially since he knew he probably wouldn't be around to finish it.
I would love to find a copy of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's induction of George and when they played "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" Prince did the solos and he blew the roof off the dump, and, in my opinion, outplayed anyone who ever played it. I still get weepy thinking about Prince standing in front of Dhani Harrison and playing for him. It was an awesome moment.
