No, not your relatives, co-workers, spouse or neighbors.
The REAL authentic YO-YO.
That little round gizmo with a string attached to your finger. Remember?
How about some of those people who could operate more than just one? And some of those fancy tricks they could do with Yo-Yo's, and still keep them spinning. Good enough to make some of those old TV shows. Could you flip a Yo-Yo and do some of those tricks, or just get a bump on your noggin? Does anyone remember the names of some of those Yo-Yo tricks? It seems everybody had a Yo-Yo. Do your kids even know what a Yo-Yo is? Maybe you still have one in the treasure box.
I saw a Yo-Yo down at the beach today.
Thanks for spinning by today.

I used to like the yo yo and my daughter had one when she was younger but I wasn't very good at it.
They did "look" easy.
I remember the Smother's brothers doing tricks, I think it was them. I couldn't do any. One was something like rocking the baby.
I think you remembered a good show. Thanks.
I could just make it go up and down... I still have one! I love all the dollar store cheap toys that last a while. I still have my jump rope as well.
Heh, i used to walk the dog my own way - Drag it across the ground! lol.
I could roll it, and make the string follow, without hitting my head.
oh yeah, I could do "around the world" and swing it around and make it retract back, but hit myself in the head a few times, lol.
Are you kidding me?? You had to have a Duncan Butterfly or Imperial ! Walk the dog , over and around ,loop de loop, memories !
Wow, an expert! Are you holding one in your icon photo? You made Duncan ring a bell.
Beauregard is gnawing it on the floor of the veranda ! I can't yo-yo anymore,it makes a great chew toy. Yo-yoing is not all I can't do anymore!
You're using that string to hold up WHAT?????? OMG.
It's a pitiful site ,R B . Pitiful!!
Yikes, this post has ads for yo-yo's, tricks and string off to the right.
I had a duncan yo-yo. I used to do "Rock the baby" and "Around the world".
Yeah, another expert.
I use to love to try, lol.
Didn't we all.
I could do "around the World" and "Walk the Dog" but that was about it. They were great weapons too!
Thanks, expert #3 appears.
Oh no no expert here!!!! I do decline that title!!!!
Yup, I had quite a few. I agree with Katherine, they would probably be used more as a weapon today by the kids.
Maybe it should be made out of soft rubber?
I had a blue Duncan Butterfly and thought I was pretty cool because I could "Walk the Dog." LOL!
Nobody took pictures of these important events.
You know thats a very true statement ... I guess they weren't as important back then.
It also cost a lot more money to develop photos. You didn't want to "waste" it. ;-)
every single yo-yo i have ever ownd has broken.
