I don't know. Please tell us. The only tree I know that has blossoms like that (but white) is a horse chestnut tree. I can't see the leaves, so I can't help here.

I DID go on a 22 mile bike ride today but didn't identify the trees along the way; well, I do know the pine trees but that's about it.

And the answer is...Flame Buckeye or Red Flowering Buckeye (Aesculus X carnia 'Briotii'.

Beverly T and William, you were close with 'horse chestnut' and 'chestnut...
(Aesculus hippocastanum L.)

Sorry if the photo was not clear enough. I could tell right away what it was,
but for someone less familiar with this tree a closer, clearer photo may have helped.

Curt, are you saying this is NOT a Crepe Myrtile. I'll be darned. The trunk looks different a little bit but I just thought that was the way it was cut. Guess I don't know this tree and will look it up. It's a gorgeous tree. That's for sure.
