Every year on our kids birthdays we take them out for dinner!  They get to choose wherever they want to go, it's totally up to them!  Chandler's favorite place to go is the Hot Rod Cafe because of the amazing free dessert you get on your birthday!

I asked Stephy where she wanted to go for dinner tonight and her answer was...

 

 

 

 

Denny's!

 

LOL, of all the choices out there! Luckily our Denny's has really good food, it's actually one of our favorite places to eat out!  I've been to some that were terrible!

You just wait till they are older and want to go for steak and lobster. You are going to be sorry you said that, lol. I always asked my kids what they wanted for dinner at home. They made the choice and I cooked it. Still do that for my married daughter but my son lives too far away now.

ahh I hate our Denny's! I think if my kids picked places they would pick either Chinese food or Old Country Buffet. Or Friendly's.
I didn't get to go out to dinner for my birthday :(

I love Denny's breakfast. They used to make great milk shakes, but changed the rules of making it. I actually visit less because of this.

I always want to go to White Castle's, but my mom rejects little Billy's wishes (that's me) and to make matters more dire, my wife, daughter and even a neighbor agrees with my mom. Your kids are lucky.

I love denny's. My dad managed denny's for over 10 years. I was always able to free food when I wanted. He would always bring home Mrs. Butlers pies. They are Fantastic! Now I can't get enough! Good choice kiddo! :)

I hope you have a good night out for Stephy's birthday dinner. That's a neat tradition to have. This year Maddie had a friend spend the night and we took them to Burger King so they could play at the playland thingy.

That is funny coming from a 5 year old, but be thankful she didn't ask for some wacky kid restaurant with equally wacky food lol.

My girls are both stuck on McDonalds. I don't have a problem with Mcdonald's, don't get me wrong - but one can only eat so much! At least you have a pretty good range of choices at Dennys :)

How cute. My youngest who is two always asks for chicken burgers (chicken sandwiches from McDonald's) or for Chinese. Lucky for us we have quite a few choices for chinese and can go nice or cheap.

That's cute. We give Elliott three choices and he chooses between them (but we do that almost any time we eat out). His birthday is in a couple of weeks and I think we will most likely be eating at a seafood place. Elliott and my husband both love it, and they give out free food on your birthday! ;) I don't like much seafood but they do have a good chicken and mushroom dish that I like so I always get that.

Klayten would be all over Denny's! He loves it! Me not so much! lol I kike it when Kolten chooses. It's always Texas Roadhouse. He's all about the steak! That's my boy! lol

my folks use to let us do the same thing and we always choose Howard Johnson's, remember those...they had the best clams!!
