I went to www.amw.com and got some information that I wasn't aware of when I wrote the article about her in October. A week before she washed ashore in Galveston Bay, Texas there had been a fishing tournemant in that area. She was found inside a plastic storage container. AMW reported last night that authorities are checking DNA samples against some little girls who are the victims of a non-custodial parental kidnapping. "Baby Grace" is described as a white female, 2-3 years old. She is 33" tall and wieghs 25 lbs. She was wearing a pullover top that might have been pink and a "broom" style skirt that matched the pullover. The skirt is a seer-sucker material and both are "Cherokee" brand . She had on size 8 1/2 childs tennis shoes with purple trim, they might lite up.
Karen Matusiewicz was taken from her Middletoen, Delaware home on 8/26/07 by her non-custodial Father, David Matusiewicz. Her 4 year old sister, Leigh and her 5 year old sister Laura are also missing. There was no description of the Father.
Deonna Shipman was kidnapped by her non-custodial Father, Jefferey Shipman on 7/12/07 from Liverpool, New York. Deonna bares a "striking resemblance" to "Baby Grace" according to the AMW's web site. The vehicle Jefferey Shipman drove was found at the Rochester, New York airport five days later. According to www.ncmec.org they might have gone out of the country to either England or Germany.
Celestia Langille of Taylor, Pennsylvania was kidnapped on 10/23/07 she is 2 years old. 2'8' and 35 lbs. She has blond hair and blue eyes. Also missing is her 1 year old brother, Everett Langille. He is described as 2'5" and 30 lbs with green eyes. They were kidnapped by their non-custodial Father and might be in Los Angeles, California or New York City. I heard about a sceintist in Europe who designed a tracking chip .. sort of like the "home again' one for pets .. but for people. The chip is supposed to be as small as a grain of rice and they inject it into your skin and then they can electronically track you if you go missing. Sad thought really but a lot of the wealthier people were flocking to get this done. Honestly if it meant being able to save my child .. or any other loved one I would do it too. Seems like if it was used more throughout the US it would deteor the criminals because the wouldn't know who was and was not chipped!!!! You know what I mean?
These families will be in my prayers.
I can't imagine the grief...
I hope they find the sick criminal(s) that did this to an innocent child.
Oh, I dunno, I think I can come up with one.
No one that kidnaps or hurts a little child should ever see the light of day!
