One day we were driving to WVU hospital and it must have been class changing time becuse there were college kids everywhere. There was a young lady walking across the street in front of us with a RATHER LARGE Handbag. I mean LARGE!
Roger started laughing and said "That bag there is not big enough for you - You could fill it and three more just like it" LOL
I LOVE purses, and carry my wallet, checkbook, lipstick (usually 2!), my asthma inhaler, keys, a small notebook, pens, cell phone, gum & whatever else my kids and husband throw in there!
Connie, I love to see other womens purses. We were in the gas station getting coffee yesterday morning and the girl getting coffee was carrying a very cute, very small purse and I asked her where she got it, my husband told her not to tell me. She did, but I gave myself 24 hours to think about it and decided it was way to small for me anway.
The last purse I bought was $3.50. It is leather with 2 compartments and a few pockets. I bought it at the Goodwill Store. Hubby didn't complain. I was shocked.
I just spent 21.00 on my new purse....I got it at Kohls.........it was on sale 75% off. that is the most I have ever spent on a purse. I am a cheap skate.
When I was in high school everyone knew that I carried everything in my purse. I was tempted to buy a minature kitchen sink so I could truly say that I did have one in my purse.
I have a bag that I take to client's homes. I choose to leave my purse behind. Not that I don't trust most of my clients, but a few, let's just say you don't bring anything personal with you.
My purse was a gift from my sister Mary, it is leather and I just love it. I believe she got it at Kohls too. It was buy one get one for 1/2 price. She is a good shopper.

Sarina, We had a neighbor who had a worker come in to help her and the worker stole her watch. It was a gift from her daughter. She was seen wearing it at a dinner at the Senior Citizens one day and lost her job.
Oh boy! I have my planner/ wallet, deodorant (I teach dance/ colorguard), electrical tape, pens, bear claws (dance shoes), padded gloves (for colorguard), mp3 player, my cds, two binders full of marching band drill, my large water bottle, my cell phone, lotion and several kinds of chapstick.... It's not a purse- it's actually a dance bag but I use it as my purse ;-P
