Utah’s Kids
Utah is taking a stand for it’s kids. Anyone who kills a child younger than 14 will face the death sentence. If a person abuses a child and that abuse leads to the child’s death, then that person will face the death penalty. I know some people are strongly against capital punishment. I know it’s a hot topic. In certain cases, I might agree, however when you kill a child, you are crossing a line. Don’t get me wrong all life is important, no one should ever be murdered. It’s just children shouldn’t have to die early, and especially not at the hands of a monster. As long as someone is guilty, then I’m all for giving them a lethal injection. I’m not for spilling innocent blood I stand by Utah’s decision to protect it’s kids.
I’d like to see something else get the death penalty. I hope there comes a point in the near future, when we consider giving the death penalty to child molesters. Again, I’m not for the taking of innocent blood, so whomever gets the penalty needs to be one hundred guilty. I’ve seen time and time again, when a sexual predator is released out into the society, that they begin stalking their prey all over again. They’ve not been cured. Prison has only kept them from hurting anyone while, they been locked up. We need to do more to keep these freaks away from our kids. I hate the idea of them being out where they can hurt children. Unless, we need a system that keeps them away from our kids. There shouldn’t be 2nd offenses. I suppose it seems very unchristian like for me to be saying this, but I think our society is too kind at times. Some crimes maybe a third chance might be worth it. Murderers and predators shouldn’t be allowed to walk. Unless, the system can guarantee the safety of the general public.
What do you think?
